Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux Tip & Wage Lawsuit

USA Employment Lawyers is investigating potential wage and hour violations involving Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux locations in Florida operated by Geaux Time Restaurant Group, LLC.

This case is being pursued as a federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) collective action on behalf of tipped employees.

Locations Under Investigation

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux – Kendall
9065 SW 162nd Avenue
Miami, Florida 33196

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux – Kissimmee (Closed)
3177 Black Lake Road
Kissimmee, Florida 34747

Important: Even though the Kissimmee location is now permanently closed, former employees may still be eligible to participate.

Who May Be Eligible

You may qualify to join this lawsuit if you were employed as a tipped employee, such as:

  • Server
  • Bartender
  • Support or front-of-house staff receiving tips
  • Worked at any time within the past three (3) years
  • Are a current or former employee

Alleged Wage & Tip Violations

The investigation focuses on whether Walk-On’s and its operators violated federal wage laws by engaging in practices such as:

Failure to provide legally required tip credit notice

Misappropriation or unlawful retention of employee tips

Late, missing, or incomplete wage payments

Requiring excessive non-tipped “side work” while paying tipped wages

Requiring employees to pay for uniforms or work-related costs

These practices, if proven, may violate the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

What Employees May Be Able to Recover

Eligible employees may be entitled to recover:

Unpaid wages

Misappropriated tips and gratuities

Additional damages permitted under federal law

There is no cost to participate, and speaking with our firm does not obligate you to join the case.

Why This Matters

Federal law strictly protects tipped employees. Employers must follow specific rules when using the tip credit, including notice requirements and limits on non-tipped work. When these rules are not followed, employees may be owed significant compensation.

Take the Next Step

If you worked at Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux in Kendall or Kissimmee, Florida within the past three years, you may have a claim.

Time limits apply. Waiting could affect your ability to recover wages.
